Update and Support for KHFH

Thanks to the continued support and promotion of Kentucky Hunters for the Hungry by the KENTUCKIANA Chapter of SCI, Kentucky Dept. of Fish and Wildlife, Dare to Care, and many others, KHFH continues to process an average of 50,000 pounds of venison a year.

While credit goes to every hunter and conservationist that has supported wise use of our renewable wildlife resources and helped our nations wildlife revive and flourish, special thanks are in order for the members of KENTUCKIANA SCI who have the longest and strongest history of support for this program among all of the conservation organizations.

KENTUCKIANA youth were again significant contributors to the program bringing in several hundred pounds of meat from their time afield.

An opportunity for everyone to support KHFH exists when you renew your vehicle license.  Please donate $2 to KHFH through the County Clerks office, even if you renew by mail. This small donation will help add meat for 8 to 10 meals.

Very soon KHFH will officially announce "The Dove Warmup" for the 2010 season. This exciting event will feature prizes and more ways for hunters to help this great cause.  Click on "Upcoming Events" for additional details.
